Will Kasab be Hanged?

First, his lawyer decided to quit, because his client, apparently, did not trust him. Thus, began a court room drama

Secondly, instead of accepting Kasab’s confession at its face value, the court could want to investigate whether the confession was made under duress, or by free will. It is expected that terrorists are trained to play mind games, and this could be Kasab’s game plan. The court is not going to fall for it, though what Kasab expects to get out of it, is anyone’s guess.

The best movies and books are those that that help us forget the realities of our daily existence, and take us on a journey wild and fanciful. The wilder the journey, the better the experience. But, if somehow the wild journey can be put across as believable, the experience of the journey is enhanced manifold. The Harry Potter books and movies manage to do just that. A boy living with muggles takes on a journey into a mystical land of magic and wizardy – the idea appeals to all children, and to all of grown-ups, who still are children at heart.
