From the Editor’s Desk!

Feb 4th, 2008 | By | Category: Editor Speak

January, 2008 began with most of India experiencing extreme cold conditions. Even Mumbai had the coldest day in the past few years. February, 2008 has brought no relief to people reeling under the wintery conditions with many places  receiving the first snowfall of the season.  Hopefully, in the days to come we will begin to see the first signs of spring.

And, in the meanwhile, we come back to what is going on at The MAG:

The lucky subscriber contest is still on.

The MAG has 21 e-mail subscribers as of now. So, according to the initial rules we need 29 more subscribers before we announce the winner. But to be fair to those who have subscribed the winner will picked on  February 15th regardless of the number of subscribers on that day. Of course, you can subscribe to The MAG even after that day.

The results are in.

The results of the last poll at The MAG are in, and here they are:

Poll results

It seems that  the majority is of those who use the Internet for about five hours or more everyday. This is not surprising keeping in  mind  that The MAG is an online magazine. But, it is an indicator of the fact that the Internet has come to play a major role in our lives. And this role will only increase in times to come. So, we rather be prepared for it lest it catches us unawares.

With that, I will sign off for this time. Keep your comments, suggestions and complaints coming. They are what keep The MAG going!

Editor,

The MAG.
