Have you ever thought of participating in a reality show? Wouldn't it be exciting? Your actions will be watched and there is a chance for you to come out of the game a  winner. Now hold your breath, you are already a part of one of the Biggest Reality Game Shows. This show might not be telecast on any of the satellite television channels, yet it is so real that it is appears on  the cosmic screen of the Almighty.

In one of my posts, I wrote that  life is like a movie. The question it brings up is that if we have to act in this life, then from where do we receive the directions. The answer lies in the fact that our lives work like a reality television game show, where every one is free to use his own will but with in a confined region, which is why we have to direct the drama of our lives ourselves. This free will is one of the greatest gifts of God to man. The direction we choose is based on our environment and experiences. 

There is so much more to life than what we think. Since everything earthly seems so real, how much more real must be that reality which creates this unreal reality! But the unreal reality makes one completely forget the real reality. It will serve us well to always remember that we wouldn't mind this earth as much as we do, if we would accept it to be a Technicolor Motion Picture. 

In the real game show of our lives, we have to showcase our best; we are awarded for the way we smilingly tackle tricky situations. We are not liked by Big Brother for our negative acts. Therefore the purpose of our existence is that we strive to become good, to become perfect, and to use our free will to choose good instead of evil. God has given us all the power we need to do that. The mind is like an elastic band. The more you pull, the more it stretches. The mind-elastic will never break. Every time you feel limitations in life, close your eyes and say to yourself, "I am the Infinite, Big Boss is watching me," and you will realise the extent of your inherent power. 

Life is a search for satisfaction and satisfaction will never come from anything less than God. No joy of the senses, no joy of possession can match the joy of God; material gifts and the temptations of money, wine, and sex are no match for a million times more intoxicating joy of  consciousness. " Though He had everything from eternity to eternity, even he also needs to be joyful, but there is no one else to share." And he began to create souls in his image, and clothe them as human beings with free choice. He gave man freedom to accept his love and live in his joy, or to cast it aside and live in delusion, in ignorance of him. 

The most satisfying point here is that God is very just and fair. On the scale of time, God monitors everyone with the golden rule of cause and effect. When human made systems can keep a track of the entire online data with tools like search engines, and the crawling lives on earth can be watched with the help of satellites, it sure is far easier for the Lord to monitor us because he is all powerful, and has been here for all eternity. Every life in this cosmic database is scanned with the help of his fool proof search engine. 

When you accept this world to be a play written by God himself, then you aren't upset by the contrasts of good and evil. When you are anchored by this heavenly realization, you will make fun of your habits, and you will be intensely amused at your distinguishing characteristics, as from the terrace of introspection you watch yourself perform in the motion picture of life. 

So watch this universe like a picture-play, as do the masters who are awake in God. Everyone should get out of this nightmare, and watch this cosmic motion picture as an entertainment. He wants you to know that you are one with him. That is why from time to time He sends God realized souls to help mankind. When people get too tired with nightmares, these souls come to wake us up, to shake us and say, "What is the matter with you? You are dreaming." And you cry that you are suffering with disease or drowned in poverty. But when, through the blessings of the great ones, you open your eyes, you see it is a dream. Practice and learn to separate the unreal from the real 

So remember, God is dreaming this world. And if we are in tune with him, we will live a divinely intoxicated life and nothing will disturb us. We will watch this cosmic picture as we watch the films in a movie house, without being hurt. God created us so that we may dream as he does. Enjoying this dream and all its contrasting experiences as an entertainment without being affected by it or absorbed in his eternal joy. It is our responsibility to handle this show with grace and dignity.
