The Dying Art of Bathroom Singing

Oct 10th, 2012 | By | Category: Articles

The best thing to do in either of these situations is take a nice, hot bath or shower. Once inside the confines of the sanctuary that is your bathroom, what better way to relax further than to hum or sing loudly your favourite song? It does not matter if you don’t know the lyrics – you can simply make up your own. They will sound just as good, if not better. Bathroom singing is an art that, like all ancient arts, is fast dying. The reasons for its extinction are not hard to find. The modern life and its ways are fast killing it.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan!

Sep 11th, 2011 | By | Category: Movie Review

This is a movie which has Katrina Kaif as the lead star. That, by itself says a lot about the movie. Going by her roles in the past films, it would not be too wrong to infer that Katrina Kaif’s main role in any movie is not to act, but to be cute on screen. She does that in this movie too, and does it better than ever before. Imran Khan and Ali Zafar, the male protagonists in the movie, seem to have caught Katrina Kaif’s affliction. Their focus in the movie is on being cute, rather than acting well.

The death of Mark Duggan, for instance, was the immediate cause of the riots to start in London, but the spread of the riots had almost nothing to do with his death.

Mar 8th, 2011 | By | Category: Affairs

The World cup, 2011 has entered the third week, and this time there have been no major surprises, except for Ireland who have managed to cause quite a stir by causing the only upset of the tournament till now by beating England in a game that saw more than 650 runs being scored. Before the World Cup had actually started, India, England, and Australia were the likeliest to lift the world cup, and most likely in that order too. In the past three weeks, nothing has changed.
